About the Role
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and capture market share in the commercial food service industry. This role focuses on engaging customers and prospects with profit-based beverage equipment programs, managing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
The Sales Manager will cover the Midwest region, targeting customers in the food service industry across multiple states.
Compensation Range
$95,000 - $120,000 Base Salary + Incentive + Car Allowance
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and defend existing accounts while expanding penetration in assigned channels, including distribution, equipment dealers, and coffee roasters.
- Train and engage customer stakeholders to strengthen sales penetration across key accounts.
- Provide strategic market insights to sales and marketing leadership to support broader business initiatives.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline for restaurant chains and new business opportunities within the region using CRM tools.
- Develop annual sales forecasts and achieve sales quotas for all beverage brands.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and other relevant events.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to address and overcome technical challenges throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in foodservice equipment or commercial beverage space. Experience selling to restaurant chains, food service dealers, and coffee roasters is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- Skills: B2B sales, emotional intelligence, negotiation, relationship building, CRM proficiency.
- Traits: Strong leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking, organizational excellence, and ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
Role Overview
- Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
- Location: Remote - Upper Midwest Region (covering MN, WI, IN, IL, MI, OH, and strategic accounts)
- Travel: Up to 50% within the region and to corporate offices; proximity to a major airport preferred. Occasional weekends for trade shows.
